Walking around all of these trade shows and gun events, every time you come across the Beretta booth you feel a little bad about yourself. While most other exhibitors will be guys in 5.11s and polos, often with ink and beards (the matching law and behavior analysis, right?), when you step foot on Beretta’s carpet the difference is real. Those guys all look like Men’s Health models dressed by Hugo Boss.
Then there are the guns…
They have some really nice stuff there.
Speaking of nice Berettas, in 2016 the company made a one of a kind Model 490 Serpentina, crafted to commemorate their 490th anniversary It included a recreation of the bill of sale for an order of arquebus barrels from the Doges of Venice in 1526 on its blue receiver– Beretta’s first documented gun order, a blue receiver, and was a work of art.
Now they are back with a second Serpentina, in all-black, complete with an ebony stock and black anodized edgeless receiver.
